 Rubi Rose Benton was born the 2nd of October, 1997 in Lexington, Kentucky, where she was also raised, by Nardos Ghebrelul, her mother, who is an Eritrean dentist from the country of immigrants who was born in Ethiopia and John Benton, her father, who is an attorney of Japanese, African American and European descent. The father of her mother was adopted. Scarlette is an older sister , and Coral is a younger sister. [2] She was baptised as an Orthodox Christian as a child. She attended Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia and ran track. She was a student of politics at Georgia State University. She was a child who listened and sang to Biggie, Marvin Gaye, Chaka Khan, Prince, Michael Jackson, Biggie, Biggie, and Biggie. Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj are among her idols. Rose gained notoriety as the main actor in Migos' music videos for "Bad and Boujee", which was a hip-hop group. In the year following she began to regularly appear on the Twitch stream with Jamaican-born East Coast Hip Hop Commentator DJ Akademiks. Rose's music career began in September of 2018 when she released a remix of "On Top", which was produced by Playboi. The single "Big Mouth" was a hit in 2019, and she performed well in the year ahead. Rose was in the CardiB music video for "WAP" by American rapper Cardi B. The video came out on August 7 in 2020. In the year 2019 she signed with A&R Chris Turner to LA Reid's record label Hitco Entertainment. Rubi is also very well recognized for her high-profile relationships. She has dated such celebrities as Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Ian Connor, 21 Savage, Soulja Boy, Lil Yachty, Takeoff, Lil Tjay and DDG. She is currently unmarried.
